These images were produced by stacking about 90 frames, all taken in
quick succession.
They were then added together, or 'stacked' using Registax. The resulting images
were then
adjusted for colour, contrast and sharpening in Photoshop. This is a labour
of love as it consumes
time in huge chunks! The image on the left is taken at sea level and the one
on the right at an altitude
of 2426 metres, on the sumit of La Palma. This clearly demonstrates that 'seeing'
is everything!
